To honour Michael Murphy's death, a CrossFit "Hero" workout was named after him. It consists of a 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups and 300 air-squats and then another 1-mile run. Murphy himself said it was his favourite workout. He named it "Body Armor" as he performed it in a weighted vest but it has since been renamed "Murph". It is considered one of the most difficult of the"Hero" workouts in CrossFit.
