Some songs written specifically for the film never made it to the final cut. Sylvinho Blau Blau wrote a song the for the sequence Marie looks for a job, which is credited but not heard. Avelar Love and his band Miquinhos Amestrados (who are all in the movie) composed a theme for his character Mauricinho, but only the instrumental version can be heard; the same with Bob's theme, which Sergio Mallandro actually performed with the Paquitas on Xou da Xuxa (1988) to promote the film.
