Many viewers commented about Princess Leia's inability to see the Force ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and most importantly, her father, Anakin Skywalker. In the Star Wars Legends novel, "Truce at Bakura", which takes place immediately after this movie, Anakin appears to Leia, to ask for her forgiveness. However, it is confirmed that Leia did see them out of the corner of her eye for a brief moment.
