As an in-joke amongst cast and crew, a prescription for Viagra for James Bond was put in the set of the clinic on the mountain top. It may have been a response to the outcome of a study published in the British Medical Journal, whereby doctors had kept track of Bond's alcohol consumption in the novels. They concluded that Bond consumes an average of 92 alcoholic units per week, which would make him an alcoholic, at high risk for liver problems and impotence.
