Staraptor, Talonflame and Unfezant are Ash's only Normal/Flying type to go through two stages of evolution while in his care. Although Pidgeot is also a second evolution Pokémon, Ash caught it when it was already a Pidgeotto. Additionally, Talonflame is the only one of the four to change one of its types upon evolving.
