Series Saturday Night Live (1975) aired a comedy sketch on its October 8, 2022 episode mocking the film's and director Andrew Dominik's overwhelmingly negative approach to Marilyn Monroe's life. It featured actress Chloe Fineman playing Ana de Armas who is nervous about filming a scene, so two studio workers (Brendon Gleeson and Heidi Gardner) are brought in to lift her spirits by reading her fan mail. But, in true "Blonde" fashion, it quickly turns into a beratement session as the letters become increasingly caustic and misogynistic, reflecting what many feel is the film's attitude towards Monroe.
