In the comics Mongal is the twin sister of the brutish alien conqueror Mongul II and daughter of the original warlord Mongul, who controlled the planet sized satellite too named Warworld. She is the orange-skin female alien who died early on in the film. In the comics Mongal was killed by her brother to replace their father as new warlord after his death.
