Keegan-Michael Key's voice acting debut. Every year following the release of this film, he was in a Sony Animation animated movie, voicing Murray the Mummy in the subsequent films of the Hotel Transylvania franchise since 2015 (replacing CeeLo Green), Judge Peckinpah in the Angry Birds films, and Dave the Dove in Gli eroi del Natale (2017). He'd also later go on to voice The Alpha Wolf in Cicogne in missione (2016), Ducky in Toy Story 4 (2019), and Banzai the Hyena (renamed Kamari) in Il re Leone (2019).
