Musician Jack White is a major fan of Orson Welles (his label, Third Man Records, is named after another film starring Welles and Joseph Cotten). "The Union Forever", a song from the White Stripes album White Blood Cells, is from the point of view of Charles Foster Kane and contains several quotes from the film. First, the song's title comes from what the young Kane shouts while playing in the snow. The song's verses quote the song performed during the garden party, while the bridge quotes verbatim the "Good Ol' Charlie Kane" song performed by Charles Bennett during the newspaper celebration scene.
