For the first time since Alien³ (1992), an Alien's point of view is shown. However, in this film we see the creature's actual visual spectrum, which confirms that Aliens can actually see despite having no eyes. Fans have speculated over the years that the Aliens' elongated domed heads are instrumental in converting light, heat signals, smell, sound and vibrations into visual data.
