The film initially plays like a classic murder mystery, leaving the audience to guess who the killer is throughout the film. While the formula ultimately remains intact, it has one twist where it turns out there were two killers the whole time. This little trick was to ensure rewatch value after the mystery is solved, because on a rewatch, even if the audience already knows who the killers are, you'll still be trying to figure out which of the two killers was being active during the kill scenes, if it wasn't both of them at once.
