The TV series did a crossover episode with Le avventure di Superman (1996) that had Static meet and team up with Superman for the first time. While the episode was a sequel to Le avventure di Superman: Obsession (1998), it actually took place during the time that Superman had joined the Justice League, since he had the same character design and was voiced by George Newbern, who took over the role in Justice League (2001).
