This is the first Avengers movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Clint Barton (Hawkeye) does not appear. Hawkeye appeared in Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and Captain America: Civil War (2016).
