There's not much elaboration about it, but Patrick Wilson notes he blacked out briefly while laying on the table. He does mention later it comes at the moment when he's trying to get his hands loose. If you look closely in a lot of the shots during this scene, you'll see Wilson's hands going blue and purple, because the ropes holding him were so tight.
