The film was originally scheduled for release on June 10, 2016. On August 5, 2015, Sony Pictures Entertainment pushed the film's release date to June 30, 2017, and then it got pushed to December 18, 2020, then, July 16, 2021 and finally, February 18, 2022, all due to the halted production.
