Nancy Borgenicht, Eric Hart, and Fred Lerner, all Utah-based actors, would go on to appear in or work on Halloween 4 - Il ritorno di Michael Myers (1988), which, like Il mostro (1986), was filmed in Salt Lake City. Lerner would also later act in an uncredited role in Halloween 6 - La maledizione di Michael Myers (1995).
