Fans accused Arnold Schwarzenegger of killing the show because he wanted to make more Terminator movies. Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't involved with the show and Terminator Genisys (2015) didn't come out until 6 years after the show had ended. The show's cancellation was the decision of FOX president Kevin Reilly who decided not to commission a 3rd season. The show was canceled due to tanking in it's Friday night time slot.
