At some point of the series each CSI team have lost a member of the team to die in the line of duty: in Las Vegas Holly Gribbs, in CSI - Scena del crimine: Cool Change (2000), and later Warrick Brown, in CSI - Scena del crimine: For Gedda (2008); in Miami Tim Speedle, in CSI: Miami: Lost Son (2004); and in New York Aiden Burns, revealed to be dead in CSI: NY: Heroes (2006) but died in an undetermined previous point (altought she had been fired a little time before of her death of the crime lab, she died working as private detective trying to catch a serial raper).
