Uncharacteristically, Jodie Foster agreed to a gratuitous nude shower scene, which she was assured would be strongly edited. Instead, just about every inch of footage was used, to the point that it was embarrassing, pointless, and voyeuristic. She has never forgiven Dennis Hopper for it.
