In the scene where Cameron is asking Bianca the things Kat is into, Bianca mentions that Kat had a picture of Jared Leto in one of her drawers. Heath Ledger, who plays her love interest Patrick, played the Joker in Christopher Nolan's Il cavaliere oscuro (2008) and Jared Leto was later cast as the Joker in Suicide Squad (2016).
