Jordan keeps his super abilities a secret from Sarah while becoming romantically involved with her. This is similar to the long on-and-off relationship between Clark Kent and Lana Lang on Smallville (2001), where Clark avoided telling Lana the truth about his Kryptonian nature, despite being in love with her.
