Jason Robards, the son of Jason Robards Sr.--who plays Abraham Lincoln's law partner--has played Abe Lincoln three times on the small screen: in a 1964 Hallmark Hall of Fame special (Abe Lincoln in Illinois (1964)), a 1992 made-for-TV movie (Lincoln (1992)), a 1991 made-for-TV movie (Il tributo più bello (1991)) and a 1992 documentary. He has also played three other US presidents. He also was the voice of U.S. Grant in Ken Burns' documentary The Civil War (1990).
