When it was revealed in the end that imprisoned drug lord Guillermo "Memo" Lucero was behind the "Diablo" escapade, one should know that Memo's last name Lucero means in Spanish "Morning Star" or "bearer of light" which also is the description of Lucifer, which is the original name for the Devil. Lucifer personifies the sin of vanity, and coincidently, Memo tells Sean that his "arrogance" got his wife killed when the latter tracked him down in his native Colombia and takes him down for the final time.
