In January of 2023 Whiting and Hussey filed suit for having been compelled to film a nude scene as teenagers. According to their filing, originally they had been told by the director that they would be wearing flesh-toned body stockings, but on the day of filming they were told they would be wearing body makeup instead and were told that they had to film in the nude or the film would fail and their careers would be harmed. At the time, Hussey was only 15 and Whiting was only 16.
