Manning Redwood, who appeared as General Miller in this movie, appeared in the next official Bond movie, 007 - Bersaglio mobile (1985), as Bob Connelly, one of Max Zorin's associates. Redwood shares the distinction of appearing in back-to-back Bond movies with different Bond actors playing both a good guy and a bad guy. (Walter Gotell and Joe Don Baker played good guys after playing bad guys.)
