When discussing the fundraiser gala with Fisk, Owlsley remarks that they should "make sure Richmond's on the guest list. He won't come, but he'll get pissy if he isn't invited." This is a reference to Kyle Richmond who, in the Marvel comics, is a rich playboy that eventually gains superpowers and becomes the costumed hero Nighthawk. In the comics, Nighthawk becomes an important member of The Defenders, a group which is going to get its own series from Netflix.
