One of over 700 Paramount productions, filmed between 1929-49 hat were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by MCA ever since. It was released on DVD 23 May 2006 as one of five titles in Universal's Cecil B. DeMille Collection, and since that time, has also enjoyed occasional airings on cable TV on Turner Classic Movies.
