Throughout the series, the sisters continually lose and gain powers, swap and share powers with demons, and experience short periods of newfound powers. Season one, episode twenty-one "Love Hurts" is unique, as it is the only episode in the series where any of the sisters exchange powers amongst each other. In season seven, episode eleven, "Ordinary Witches", Piper and Phoebe attempted to swap powers. But an interruption from an unforeseen attack caused their powers to land in two unsuspecting people.
