Though the last James Bond movie co-produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli was Agente 007 - L'uomo dalla pistola d'oro (1974), the dissolution of the partnership did not occur until after that movie was released. Saltzman was involved with this movie during early pre-production (until his £20 million slice of James Bond in December 1975), as was original director Guy Hamilton together with John Landis, a young writer at the time.
