Seasons one and two were written entirely by the three Creators of the show, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan. However, when American Horror Story (2011) was picked up, with Murphy and Falchuk as its show runners, this show had a writing staff for the remainder of its run.
