Stan Laurel was a native of Ulverston, Lancashire (now Ulverston, Cumbria), in northwest England. For several years, the Ulverston Brewing Company of Cumbria have been making a selection of bottled and draught beers with Laurel and Hardy themed names, such as Lonesome Pine and Laughing Gravy.
