Director/screenwriter Billy Wilder seems to have been fond of the joke in which an American speaks to a German, referring to a woman's breasts as a "glockenspiel". In Stalag 17, it is Robert Strauss speaking to Sig Ruman. In Uno, due, tre! (1961), it is Red Buttons asking a German secretary. The literal translation is "chimes".
