Even though Rowena is Crowley's mother, the actress who plays Rowena (Ruth Connell) is fifteen years younger than the actor who plays Crowley (Mark Sheppard). However, since Crowley is possessing a vessel and it is not his original body, and Rowena being a centuries old witch, it is understandable.
