Producer Gale Anne Hurd also produced Aliens - Scontro finale (1986). The Avengers series has featured several references to that franchise. The Avengers (2012) featured a cameo of Harry Dean Stanton interacting with Bruce Banner. The first two films were directed by Joss Whedon, who wrote Alien - La clonazione (1997). The death of Ebony Maw in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) was taken from Aliens, as was the scene of the Chitauri advancing on Hawkeye in Avengers: Endgame (2019).
