Referring to her sex scene with Mickey Rourke, Lisa Bonet has been quoted as saying, "...it was so much fun to do - to explore these elements inside yourself - and to get to do it in front of everyone was like getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar." She continued, "It was totally unchoregraphed, so Mickey and I had a lot of freedom. It was three hours of just... sex, with Alan (the director) screaming, 'More blood.' Mickey was just as nervous as I was - he had never done a nude scene before, either; but actually, by the time we shot the scene, which was our last major thing, I was beginning to feel a lot more comfortable."
