DVDs of "North by Northwest" are on sale in the gift shop at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, in clear view of the mountainside sculpture on which the movie's climax is staged. (The actors had to work on a mock-up of the famous sculpture because the U.S. Interior Department banned filming on the monument.)
