The ramp featured in the opening sequence's big motor-cycle jump was not part of the actual wall it was adjacent to in the old age stone city of Matera in Italy. It was in fact a specially built secure platform set construction made especially for the stunt so the motor-bike could ride up it and jump over the corresponding ancient wall.
