The scene where Bruce breaks down the door to Chase's office thinking she's being attacked just to find her boxing with a punching bag wasn't in the original script, where the character's encounter played normally. The sequence was actually re-imagined when actress Nicole Kidman, who was very passionate about kickboxing at the time, asked director Joel Schumacher if they could find a way to incorporate this element within the character.
