The full name of the prison known as "Oz" was Oswald Maximum Security Penitentiary. From the third season the name switched to Oswald State Correctional Facility, Level 4. Unit 3 was said to house homosexual inmates, with Unit F housing HIV prisoners and Unit J ex-police and hacks (correctional officers). Emerald City (with subsections A-D) was Cellblock 5.
