Vanya's developing powers are represented through her wardrobe; at the beginning of the show she wears dark clothes with her hair pulled back tightly. As she discovers her powers, her clothes become more colorful and her hair becomes looser. By the end of the first season, she wears an all-white suit with her hair down around her shoulders.
