Julienne Davis recalled how she was initially cast as an extra for the orgy scene by Vitali. "Originally I was just an extra with a mask and not much else. I could have done that because no one would have known who I was. But the other scene with me drugged out and naked was something else. It's not just the bimbo strutting around with her boobs out. Suddenly I became a girl with a past. If it hadn't been Stanley Kubrick I don't think I would have done it. I suppose there were times when you do feel a bit vulnerable. But," she says with a hint of irony, "I did it for Stanley."
