Sultanat was also to be made in English by Philip Dayton and the English Film's title. was to be Chasing The Sword with American Crew and the Englishversion was supposed to be An Indian- American Co-Production, but later Producer Arjun Hingorani dropped the idea. During the shooting of the Hindi film the America crew and the lead players were present on the sets watching the shooting. The English version was to start after the completion of the hindi version.
