The movie's first trailer showed a CGI Hulk that didn't look very convincing, which led to several viewers derisively calling it 'Shrek on Steroids.' Producer Gale Anne Hurd later regretted releasing a trailer with unfinished VFX and urged moviegoers to see the finished results in the cinema.
