Lestat wears black or darker clothing during notable scenes when he's killing, attacking, and menacing someone. For example: In the pilot episode, "In Throes of Increasing Wonder...", when Louis is confessing his sins in the confession booth, the session is all of a sudden interrupted by Lestat. Lestat wears a black overcoat when he ends up killing the two priests.In season one, episode five, "A Vile Hunger for Your Hammering Heart", when Louis mentions leaving him, Lestat viciously attacked him. Lestat wears black loungewear shirt, pants, and shoes when he attacked and brutalized Louis.In season one, episode six, "Like Angels Put in Hell by God", despite her wanting Louis to come with her, Claudia decides to leave on her own again due to not wanting to further deal with Lestat and not get in between him and Louis. With Louis' reluctant blessing, she leaves. She sneaks on a train that was leaving Louisiana. However, at one point, Lestat was able to find her after he had killed the conductor. Lestat wears a deep navy blue suit when he taunts, menaces, and threatens Claudia for leaving, and forces her to come back.
