The character of Big Fire, after whom the organization Big Fire was named, is revealed to be Babil Junior: la leggenda (1992), also known as Babel II in the United States. Babel is an alien entity incarnated in the body of a schoolboy named Koichi. Accompanying Babel are his three aides: a shape-shifting black panther named Rodem; a pterodactyl-esque creature called Ropross; and a giant robot named Poseidon that lives in the ocean. Curiously, in this series he acts as the alien leader of Big Fire while in his own saga he is Earth's defender.
