Shankshaw, the prison FP is sent to for Jason Blossom's death, is named for Shawshank, the prison from the famous film, The Shawshank Redemption. The film, The Shawshank Redemption, is based on the 1982 novella, Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, by Stephen King.
