In Kill Bill - Volume 2 (2004), Bill (David Carradine) described how painful a shot to the kneecap is. Mr. White (Harvey Keitel) mentioned the same thing in Le iene (1992). This was referenced when Django (Jamie Foxx) shoots Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson) in both of his knees.
