Many believe Steven's birthday is in January (as the episode "Steven's Birthday" was released that month), but creator Rebecca Sugar said at Comic-Con that it's the same day as her brother's (the inspiration and namesake of the character), which is August 15th. This would make Steven Universe's birthstone a Peridot.
