Paris Berelc from Disney XD sitcom Mighty Med (2013) auditioned for the role of Maya Hart. With her commitments to Mighty Med, her role was rejected. Berelc, though, would later star alongside Rowan Blanchard (Riley) in the Disney Channel Original Movie Mia sorella è invisibile! (2015).
