The voice of Raccacoonie was performed (uncredited) by the singer/songwriter Randy Newman. This casting is one of many references to the 2007 Pixar movie Ratatouille (2007); although Newman did not actually work on Ratatouille, he has written songs and/or scores for many other Pixar films (including the four Toy Story - Il mondo dei giocattoli (1995) films, both Monsters & Co. (2001) films, two of the Cars - Motori ruggenti (2006) series, and A Bug's Life - Megaminimondo (1998)), making Newman a sort of Pixar good-luck charm. (He was credited in the digital and home video releases).
